During June 2019, I spent 12 days travelling through Giglio Island and Capraia Island, both part of the Tuscan Archipelago.
While exploring the islands through their paths, I stumbled upon a small tangle of iron wires, originally used as a vineyard fence.
Observing the tangle I felt the need of representing it through a series of 6 temporary configurations.
While editing, I sensed the possibility of juxtaposing each configuration obtained by manually modelling the tangle to one real data landscape photograph.
The eidetic and chromatic correspondences obatained by such juxtapositions eventually became a revelation for myself, allowing my rational concience to experience the possibility of a double way of photographic representation.
